Entice your audience to join your member database by offering up prizes they can’t get anywhere else. For example, host contests for exclusive VIP passes to a sold out concert or offer up unique promotional items from your prize closet. Run a sweepstakes for a chance to win a one-of-a-kind experience such as a fun night out with your on-air personalities. You could even run a contest where the winner gets to hang out in the studio and be a featured guest on an episode of your morning show. Require listeners to provide an email address and any other relevant registration data you need in order to be entered into these promotions and watch both your database numbers and return traffic begin to increase!
