3 Ways to Implement a Successful Integrated Campaign

Increase engagement and attract more sponsors using integrated content campaigns! This type of promotion will help you monetize your investment in Frankly Media products such as EXPRESS CMS and the ENGAGE Suite by offering your advertisers high visibility opportunities to promote their product or service. Below are 3 easy steps for building a seamless, interactive experience to drive awareness for your sponsors while engaging your audience.

Develop a theme

Campaign themes are commonly developed around one of three concepts: an upcoming local or national event, an existing advertiser’s business, or a major giveaway. Work together with your advertiser to determine a central idea that best suits their current needs. For example, a film festival could run a “Let’s Go to the Movies” themed campaign to increase visibility for their upcoming event.

Plan Your Campaign

Once you’ve determined the theme, identify the components to integrate into your campaign. For example, clients with our ENGAGE Suite Widgets can use the campaign widget to create a trivia question, featured link, a video, a coupon, and more to promote the advertiser or event. In addition, you could use ENGAGE Suite Contesting to give away tickets to an event, such as the film festival in the previous example. Integrate these two features together by including a link to the contest through the featured link module in the campaign widget, allowing site visitors to access the sweepstakes after they interact with the other components. While the campaign widget can be embedded anywhere on your site, an ideal place to include it would be a dedicated landing page that provides more information about your sponsor or the campaign.

Promote!

Incorporate mentions of your campaign into both your online and offline media outlets. Post graphics on your blog or homepage. Include mentions in your on-air programming, your monthly email newsletter, and on your social media profiles. If you have additional ad space available, create an attractive graphic with a call to action that drives members to your themed content.

With an enticing theme, a solid plan, and plenty of promotion, your sponsored campaign has the potential to drive new site traffic, bring in revenue, and even attract new business. For more promotion ideas, check out our free Campaign Concepts Guides.
