Monday Marketing Tip: Promote your on-air contests on your website!

Start the week with a boost in audience engagement with our Monday Marketing Tip series!

Today’s advice will help you get the most out of your on-air contests. For your biggest promotions, you’ll reach the majority of your listeners by frequently mentioning them on-air. However, don’t forget to consider other segments of your audience who primarily engage with your brand in the digital space. For example, some members may find out about your latest contests through email, your website, or your social media profiles. An easy way to ensure that you’re reaching the most people is to cross-promote your ‘call-to-win’ contests and other on-air promotions across your digital properties as well.

Consider featuring a graphic on your homepage that links to an informational blog post about when your audience should tune in to win on-air prizes. Also mention these promotions in your newsletter emails and in social media posts. For users of our Engage Suite contesting product, you can use the ‘offline’ setting when creating a contest, which allows members to see the promotion in your contest list, but it removes the option for them to enter online. If you use this option, be sure to include important details on the contest page, such as how to participate and when they should tune in to win!
