Monday Marketing Tip: Post teaser content to promote your upcoming holiday events!

Start the week with a boost in audience engagement with our Monday Marketing Tip series!

Today’s advice will help you generate buzz for your next upcoming event by sharing a series of teaser content leading up to the big day.

With December in full swing, you’re probably gearing up for your annual holiday concert or sponsored New Year’s Eve bash. A great way to get your audience’s attention and build excitement is to reveal enticing details about the event in a serious of teaser content. For example, if your concert will have an appearance from a special guest such as a popular up-and-coming band (or even Santa!), tease those surprises over the weeks leading to the event with on-air mentions and posts to your website and social media. Create a little bit of mystery to excite attendees and intrigue members of your audience who haven’t yet purchased their own tickets. Use your creativity to make teaser content that could trend or go viral on social channels, such as video clips. Ask a celebrity who will appear at your event to record a message sharing the details, or even enlist your on-air talent to produce an announcement video. You could even share clips of behind-the-scenes images leading up to the big day or create a highlight reel for annual events to show how much fun attendees had in previous years.
