Monday Marketing Tip: Compel your audience with clear calls to action!

Start the week with a boost in audience engagement with our Monday Marketing Tip series!

Today’s advice will help you increase member participation through strategic calls to action (CTAs).

When sharing content on your site that requires an action, such as a submitting a contest entry, signing up for an email list, or purchasing an event ticket, it’s important to provide clear direction to guide your audience toward your desired behavior. The right compelling text, paired with an attractive, eye-catching button, can make a significant difference in your conversion rate.

While a call to action statement above a button can be a little longer (perhaps a sentence or two), be sure to keep the text on the button brief (five words or less). Also consider incorporating action words into your invitation, giving members a clear understanding of what you would like for them to do. Once you’ve determined your CTA text, select an eye-catching button design that will be sure to grab your audience’s attention. Employing these two strategies together will help you craft a CTA that’s sure to inspire action!
