Q&A: Integrating podcasting into your online strategy


Today, our Senior Manager of Content & Promotions, Anne Marie Robson, answers another common question that we hear from clients looking for ways to boost online engagement.

I’m interested in exploring podcasting for my brand but have no idea how to get started. What do you suggest?

Anne Marie: That’s a really good question! Podcasting is vastly popular, and it’s a great addition to your online assets. If you’re interested in incorporating podcasts into your online strategy but don’t have the resources to create brand new content at first, consider kicking off the initiative by recycling some of your high-performing on-air material. For example, if your morning show crew has a particularly large following, use some of that programming to create a podcast series. You could shorten the extended audio from interviews or special features into episodes. Offering this content on your website will allow your audience to access their favorite segments whenever they want, which can lead to a life in your online traffic.
